In 1998, J.C.E.C. Company, Inc. (JCEC)was founded by John Canvin to provide regulatory & compliance consulting services for the medical device, biotech and pharmaceutical industries. In 2002 we obtained FDA approval to market and sell Dilapan-S, The Hygroscopic Cervical Dilator in the United States. Following FDA approval in 2002, JCEC began to market and sell Dilapan-S, eventually adding device approvals in Canada, Australia and other territories on behalf of FEMA and GelMed International (the manufacturer of Dilapan-S). JCEC remains the official correspondent for GelMed with the FDA and Health Canada.
