Across many of the world's leading hospitals, DILAPAN‑S is becoming standard.
Following the latest Newsweek World’s Best Hospitals 2026 ranking, we looked at how many of these leading institutions are located in countries where DILAPAN‑S is commercially available, and whether these hospitals use DILAPAN-S in clinical practice.
What the Data Reveals
Of the 82 ranked hospitals in these countries, nearly half use DILAPAN-S. The proportion rises to 62 % among hospitals providing obstetric and gynaecology care. Interestingly, adoption was particularly high in the United States, where 89% of the ranked hospitals use DILAPAN-S.

While practice varies between countries and institutions, these findings illustrate the growing role of DILAPAN-S across many leading maternity centres.
